Along with being an iconic taste of autumn, pumpkins are also great for seasonal decorating, especially with a little DIY flair! This crafty arrangement made with dried flowers from our Floral Department is a stunning centerpiece for fall, no carving required.
What You’ll Need:
- Small pumpkin
- Glue (hot glue dries faster, but regular white glue will also work)
- Reindeer moss
- Dried flowers (at least one bunch)
- Dried elements such as pinecones, cinnamon sticks, star anise, or pods
How to Make the Arrangement:
- Wash and dry the outside of the pumpkin. (This helps the pumpkin stay fresh longer.)
- Take a handful of moss and roll it in your hand to form a ball that will fit on top of your pumpkin.
- Glue the moss on top of the pumpkin, then let it dry completely before the next step.
- Plan out your arrangement of dried flowers and other dried elements. For the flowers, check their stem length and trim as needed.
- Starting at the bottom of the moss and working your way around to the center, glue flowers and other festive touches in place. For best adhesion, place glue along the stem of a flower and insert into the moss one at a time.
- Keep the arrangement dry to make it last as long as possible.
- Enjoy!
