We’re officially rockin’ in Rocklin! Our long-anticipated new store, located on the corner of Whitney Ranch Parkway and University Avenue, opened its doors for the first time, and we’re so grateful to all who came out to put the “grand” in Grand Opening!
An important cornerstone of our company culture, our mission statement starts with: “We are a family of dedicated people with a love of food and a passion for excellent service.” While all our departments embody that idea, our Kitchen Department is one of the most direct examples of that ethos in action!

Nugget Market may be known for our magnificent Meat Department now, but did you know we didn’t even have one when we first opened? Back in 1926, butchers were standalone shops you’d visit as part of your multi-store grocery trip. Nugget Market became a trendsetter in the 1930s as one of the first grocers to have a meat counter, and what’s more, we raised our own cattle to supply it!
From everyday staples to specialty ingredients, when it comes to great groceries, Nugget Market has it all. Seriously, our stores offer more than 15,000 gourmet groceries, and more than a third of those are locally sourced! We pride ourselves on our extensive selection of organic, specialty, and conventional goods, and work hard to uphold the reputation, “If anyone has it, Nugget does!”
