Cooking Instructions: Skewers & Kabobs

Dinner's a cinch when you throw some kabobs on the grill (or in the oven). Make sure your meat is properly cooked with these simple-to-follow instructions.
Ingredients
- 4 Fresh to Market Skewers or Kabobs
Preparation
Hawaiian Beef Skewers:
If cooking on the grill, heat grill to medium-high. Season grill by rubbing with an oiled towel to help prevent sticking. Grill skewers 2–3 minutes per side, until they reach an internal temperature of 135°F for medium-rare.
If cooking in the oven, preheat oven to 425°F. Place skewers on a lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, until they reach an internal temperature of 135°F for medium-rare.
Hawaiian Chicken Skewers:
If cooking on the grill, heat grill to medium-high. Season grill by rubbing with an oiled towel to help prevent sticking. Grill skewers 3–4 minutes per side, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
If cooking in the oven, preheat oven to 425°F. Place skewers on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12–14 minutes, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
Chicken Kabobs:
If cooking on the grill, heat grill to medium. Season grill by rubbing with an oiled towel to help prevent sticking. Grill skewers for 4–5 minutes per side with the lid closed, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Adjust heat accordingly to prevent burning.
If cooking in the oven, preheat oven to 425°F. Place kabobs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 14–16 minutes, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
Shrimp Kabobs:
If cooking on the grill, heat grill to medium. Season grill by rubbing with an oiled towel to help prevent sticking. Grill skewers for 1½–2 minutes per side, until the shrimp reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
If cooking in the oven, preheat oven to 425°F. Place kabobs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes, until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F for medium-rare.
