Recipes Nugget Markets Signature Recipes
These light, crispy French delights are easy to make whenever you have leftover puff pastry dough—but they're so good, you'll be making (or buying!) puff pastry just to have them! You can also put your own spin on them by making them into different shapes and giving them different fillings, like swirls studded with chocolate pieces.

- ¾ cup granulated sugar150.96 grams granulated sugar ¾ cup (150.96 grams) granulated sugar
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Place puff pastry dough on a floured surface. Sprinkle dough evenly with sugar, then use a rolling pin to gently roll over it to press the sugar into the dough.
Starting on the right side, roll or fold the dough over itself towards the center until you reach the middle. Repeat with the left side until the two rolls meet in the middle.
Cut dough vertically into ¼-inch-thick slices. Place slices flat on a baking sheet, then transfer to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes.
Let cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes, then move to a wire rack to cool completely.
