This simple sandwich is an easy, delicious way to get your turkey fix or use up any holiday leftovers.
Ingredients
- 1 pita bread
- 2 ounces mayonnaise
- ¼ pound cooked turkey, sliced
- 5 rings red onion
- 4 slices tomato
- 2 leaves lettuce
- Pepperoncini, optional
Preparation
Split pita in half and spread mayonnaise inside the bread. Insert turkey, onions, tomato slices, lettuce, and pepperoncini, if desired.
