This simple, quick, and versatile pizza sauce also tastes great served over pasta.
Ingredients

Preparation
Heat olive oil in a small pot. Add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add chopped garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Add oregano, basil, and white wine and cook until wine is reduced by half, about 4–6 minutes. Add tomatoes and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Pour sauce into a blender, add salt, and blend until smooth. Check flavor and season with more salt, if desired.
